The polypropylene fibre microreinforcement system - 'Mikrobet' - prevents shrinkage cracks, and at the same time, it improves appreciably such concrete parameters, like shear strength, grindability, flexural strength. In addition, fibres increase freeze resistance and reduce the susceptibility to corrosion, diminish considerably absorbability and percolability of products.

Mikrobet is used successfully in replacing traditional anti-shrinkage reinforcement [usually steel gauze], eliminating thus time-consuming manoeuvres with wires among various conduits. The use of microreinforcement does not entail any redesigning for the parts made and blends contents.

The simplicity of use and full-range adaptation to all technologies of surface laying and finishing does improve the investment economy.
